We recently received this very poignant note accompanied by a generous contribution. Even in the face of great sorrow, and with much on their minds, families who have used our services want to ensure that others in need will be able to access the same care when they need it.

Mrs. Leduc’s kind letter is only one of many we receive each year. I am constantly inspired by these grateful messages that speak directly to the quality and compassion of our staff and volunteers. I share this note with you today because I know you also care deeply about the quality of life in our community and want to help those in need.

This has been a challenging year for our non-profit organization. The need for free and subsidized care has risen dramatically as families struggle with loss of income and health benefits. We continue to do our best to accommodate their critical needs. But we can’t do it alone.

We are deeply grateful that despite difficult times for everyone, our loyal donors, people like you, have reaffirmed the value of Home Health & Hospice Care and the Community Hospice House by continuing to support our work.

Contributions to the Annual Fund ensure that vital core programs like hospice care, pediatric care, bereavement groups, homemaking services, and senior health clinics will receive the funds necessary to continue serving the community.

Your generous gift will help us care for a dying patient at the Community Hospice House or run a support group for young children who have suffered a loss. Your contribution will allow us to purchase pediatric stethoscopes for our tiniest patients or additional Telehealth monitors, allowing patients to check their vital signs in the comfort of their own homes.
